Looking for a strategic and results-driven IT Procurement Consultant to spearhead procurement functions and vendor governance aligned to the organization’s technology transformation roadmap. This role will require a deep understanding of IT supply chains, vendor negotiations, contract lifecycle management, and emerging technology solutions such as AI and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Vendor Management
- Lead end-to-end vendor lifecycle management including sourcing, onboarding, risk assessment, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular vendor audits, capability assessments, and SLA compliance reviews.
- Drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key technology vendors and client stakeholders.
- Partner with vendors for long-term strategic engagements and innovation-driven collaborations.
2. IT Procurement Operations
- Oversee technology procurement planning, budgeting, and execution aligned with annual business goals.
- Implement best practices in procurement processes using platforms like SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or Coupa.
- Coordinate with finance and sales teams to align procurement forecasts with client demands and cost targets.
- Ensure timely contract renewals, supplier compliance, and commercial optimization.
3. Contract Lifecycle Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology contracts in collaboration with legal and sales functions.
- Align contracts with customer SLAs, data protection requirements, and Infosys GTM strategies.
- Manage and maintain a centralized contract repository for internal audits and reporting.
- Use Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools like Icertis, DocuSign CLM, or similar platforms to track milestones.
4. Client Engagement & Digital Solutioning
- Collaborate with enterprise clients to promote AI, cloud, and data analytics-based partner solutions.
- Advise customers on migration strategies from legacy platforms to cloud-native solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Support sales and presales in RFPs and customer proposal submissions, including solution architecture discussions.
5. Strategic Account Management
- Act as procurement lead for key enterprise accounts, managing 3rd-party technology contracts and SLAs.
- Deliver monthly procurement and contract governance reports to senior leadership.
- Act as a liaison between internal delivery teams and client procurement/IT functions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 8–10 years of experience in IT procurement, vendor management, or contract governance
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, SaaS agreements, and digital/cloud transformation
- Hands-on experience with procurement and CLM tools
- Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachellor's or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CIPS)
- Experience working with multinational or enterprise clients in regulated industries
- Familiarity with Agile procurement or DevOps-aligned sourcing models
