You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers, leading the development and execution of proactive measures, and ensuring the stability and performance of VMware and cloud infrastructures.Key Responsibilities: Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with customers to deliver timely solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles. Develop proactive measures to enhance the stability and performance of VMware Cloud Foundations (VCF). Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and implement preventive solutions. Manage VMware infrastructure, including ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, and NSX technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware infrastructure (virtual machines, ESXi hosts, vCenter servers). Monitor and optimize VMware environment performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization. Implement security best practices to safeguard virtualized environments. Develop backup and disaster recovery plans for virtualized systems, ensuring data integrity. Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing VMware-related issues. Plan and assess future capacity requirements, recommending hardware and software upgrades. Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to integrate VMware solutions into the overall IT infrastructure. Train clients on VMware best practices and usage to enhance their proficiency. Mentor and guide junior engineers in troubleshooting and technical practices. Contribute to product improvement through engagement with development teams. Lead and mentor cloud operations teams, fostering a culture of collaboration. Develop cost optimization strategies and oversee security measures for cloud operations. Manage the design, planning, and execution of cloud architectures. Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning for cloud environments. Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud operations. Act as a liaison between technical teams, management, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.Qualifications: Education: Any IT Graduate Experience: Total: 15+ years in IT Relevant: Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management Extensive experience (8+ years) in managing complex cloud infrastructures and leading cross-functional teams to optimize operations.
