Senior/ IT Operations Executive

Job Duties:

24/7 IT Systems Monitoring & Management:

• Oversee critical IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure seamless operations.
• Proactively monitor for system health, performance, and availability using monitoring tools.
• Respond swiftly to system alerts, ensuring minimal disruption to business-critical operations.

Incident & Problem Management

• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve system incidents in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and document solutions for future reference.
• Lead recovery actions during high-severity incidents, coordinating with internal teams and vendors.

System Maintenance & Process Optimization

• Manage regular patch updates, system upgrades, and security compliance to ensure IT robustness.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
• Automate monitoring, reporting, and routine tasks to drive productivity.

IT Operations Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed operational reports on system performance, incident trends, and resolution metrics.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
  

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to enhance monitoring capabilities using the latest tools and technologies.
• Support and drive IT initiatives for digital transformation and innovation.
  

Job Requirements:

1. Possess at least a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
2. Be willing to work in a shift-based environment.
3. Have at least 1-2 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or related fields.
4. Be competent in Linux/Windows OS administration. Possession of system virtualization skillset is a plus.
5. Be familiar with system monitoring tools and incident management frameworks.
