Overview
In-depth understanding of networking concepts including Routing, Switching, Spanning Tree Protocol, HSRP, ARP, VLAN, Inter-VLAN Routing, OSPF, BGP, WLAN, WLC, AP, WiFi, SSID, Clear Channel Assessment (CCA), heat maps, and related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Management of network incidents escalations from L1/L2, incident and problem management, and security incident response.
- Collaborate with respective infra tower teams to troubleshoot and identify root causes related to network issues.
- Coordinate with network vendors’ support teams for troubleshooting, identification, and resolution of network problems.
- Handle critical network incidents under pressure to resolve them in a timely manner and minimize business impact.
- Attend conference calls with other support teams for problem identification and resolution.
- Maintain good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Adhere to the bank’s processes and policies.
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
- Hands-on experience with routers and switches for basic troubleshooting of network-related problems and incidents.
- Advanced hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex network problems.
- Logical thinking and problem-analysis skills to troubleshoot complex network problems, isolate root causes, and provide suitable resolutions.
- Knowledge of advanced network technologies such as VXLAN, Cisco ACI, VXLAN BGP EVPN, SDA, SD-WAN, etc., is an added advantage.
