A leading company in Singapore seeks an IT & SAP Manager to oversee IT infrastructure, systems, and projects. This role includes managing a team, ensuring security compliance, and aligning IT initiatives with business goals. We are looking for an IT & SAP Manager mainly covering Project Management, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and TechOps. This is a 12-month contract position with a high possibility of conversion to a permanent headcount, based on performance and business needs.
This is a multifaceted role responsible for overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure, SAP systems, IT projects, cybersecurity, and technology operations across office and retail store environments. This position blends technical expertise, strategic leadership, and strong project management capabilities to ensure robust and scalable IT operations aligned with organizational objectives.
Managing IT Staff:
Recruit, train, and manage IT personnel, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
Infrastructure Management:
Oversee and maintain computer systems, networks, and related hardware and software.
Project Management:
Plan, implement, and coordinate IT projects, including system updates, migrations, and new technology deployments.
IT Strategy Alignment:
Align IT initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring technology supports organizational goals.
Budget Management:
Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure data security, network access, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Policy Development:
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, including security protocols and best practices.
Vendor Management:
Evaluate and negotiate with vendors for hardware, software, and IT services.
System Audits and Optimization:
Conduct regular system audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
Reporting:
Provide regular reports on IT operations, project status, and budget utilization to senior management.
Technical Proficiency:
Leadership and Management:
Ability to lead and motivate an IT team, delegate tasks, and provide performance feedback.
Project Management:
Skills in planning, organizing, and executing IT projects within specified timelines and budgets.
Problem-Solving:
