Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Workday HCM Specialist to enhance their Human Capital Management platform through operational support and technical integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Workday and enterprise applications, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, system stability, and effective integration with HR and finance systems.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise applications, with at least 5 years of Workday support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday integration tools and technologies.
  • Experience in team leadership or managerial roles in enterprise IT support.

Job description

Job Summary

Responsible for the operational support, technical enhancement, and integration of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This role oversees the system landscape, focusing on platform stability, HR system integration, and cross-functional collaboration, particularly with HR and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support HRIS system and payroll functions manage day-to-day Workday System across multiple module such as Workday HCM, Absence, Expense, Talent & Performance, and Learning, custom reports, Calculated Fields, and Workday integrations.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on Workday functionality and best practices

  • Collaborate with HR leadership to align Workday capabilities with business objectives

  • Partner with vendors and consultants on system enhancements and support escalations.

  • Oversee data integrity between Workday and downstream system such as SAP Finance and Workday

  • Adaptive Planning for relevant cross-system processes (e.g., cost centers, org structures)

  • Coordinate and conduct user acceptance test and training

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise applications, with at least 5 years supporting Workday in an IT capacity

  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday integration tools and technologies.

  • Team leadership or managerial experience in enterprise IT support roles.

  • Proven ability to manage complex integrations and cross-functional projects.

  • Project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Consultative and able to lead user discussions, manage scope and recommend solutions.

  • Good stakeholder analysis skills

Good to Have:

  • Working knowledge of SAP Finance processes, structures, and data flows

  • Experience integrating Workday with ERP systems such as SAP.

  • Familiarity with middleware platforms (e.g. Dell Boomi).
