Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches).
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems supporting critical banking applications.
  • Oversee network monitoring, incident response, and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce network security policies, perform regular vulnerability assessments, and respond to threats.
  • Manage relationships with network vendors, ISPs, and managed service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with MAS TRM Guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
  • Lead network-related projects including upgrades, migrations, and cloud integrations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and support staff.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, and incident reports.
  • Participate in IT audits, disaster recovery planning, and BCP testing.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to network infrastructure and banking.

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT network and infrastructure in a financial institution or regulated environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco , Juniper , Fortinet , or equivalent network devices.
  • Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and security frameworks.
  • Experience with SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls, NAC, and load balancers.
  • Familiarity with MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines and other compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP , CCIE , CISSP , or AWS Networking Specialty preferred.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
