A leading company in Singapore is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee the development and maintenance of IT systems. Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT project management experience required.
• Strong understanding of IT systems and technologies.
• Certification in Project Management preferred (e.g. PMP, PSM/CSM).

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development, maintenance and operating priorities of IT systems.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plan according to the specifications to ensure effectiveness.
• Handle the delivery of IT services to organisation, through contract management, outsourcing, partnerships and internal IT departments.
• Identify the IT services and infrastructure needed to support the critical business systems.
• Guide the selection, set up and use of IT equipment and software.
• Implement solutions based on the gaps identified in service and maintenance services.
• Ensure IT governance, set and enforce standards and policies in relation to technology, quality, IT security, risk and project management.
• Control and make suggestions for development budgets.
• Manage and develop a budget for cost management.
  
  

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science(including Programming, Networking) or equivalent.
• 7+ years of IT project management experience.
• Strong experience in project management, solution planning or delivery.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, technologies, and applications.
• Ability to analyze project data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Certification on Project Management such as PMP, PSM / CSM, etc, preferred.
• Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, with excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines.
