Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead the entire IT infrastructure of the hotel, ensuring the smooth operation of network and systems on a daily basis.
  • Plan, design, maintain, and implement a robust and secure network architecture to support the hotel's operations and guest services.
  • Manage and maintain all networking equipment, including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with vendors to procure networking hardware and software, negotiating the best deals to maximize the IT budget.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to the IT Administrator(s), fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure efficient handling of IT support requests from colleagues, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, maintaining data security and privacy standards in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess the efficiency and security of IT systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand their IT needs and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in network technology and infrastructure management to introduce innovative solutions.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of technology-related projects, including system upgrades and integrations.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's management team to align IT strategies with overall business goals and objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications in network management (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as an IT Manager with a focus on network and infrastructure management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in daily IT operations, including managing IT administrators and handling user support requests.
  • Solid knowledge of networking protocols, configurations, and security measures.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure components such as servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address complex IT issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work during non-business hours for system maintenance and emergencies.
