Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the organisation’s IT infrastructure strategy to support business goals and future scalability. This includes overseeing the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of infrastructure architecture and security operations. The role provides thought leadership in infrastructure technologies, ensures regulatory compliance, and builds strong partnerships with stakeholders and vendors. In addition, the manager leads a team of infrastructure and security professionals, driving capability development and operational excellence across the function.

This role is based in Tampines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the organisation’s IT infrastructure strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and future scalability.
  • Provide thought leadership in designing secure, scalable, and agile infrastructure architecture, including performance benchmarking and governance frameworks.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing emerging technologies to optimise IT operations, cost efficiency, and cybersecurity.
  • Oversee infrastructure planning, design, and performance to meet service level expectations, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards (e.g. Cyber Security Act 2018).
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of disaster recovery, threat detection, and incident response protocols.
  • Manage infrastructure security operations, including tool deployment, risk assessments, and stakeholder advisories.
  • Set and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and vendor performance to maintain high service quality and operational excellence.
  • Translate business needs into actionable infrastructure solutions, including feasibility studies, system enhancements, and future-forward technologies such as AI and analytics.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, oversee training programs, and ensure capability development aligns with industry best practices.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or security management roles.
  • Good knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, infrastructure design, cloud platforms, and security standards.
  • Proven track record in driving large-scale infrastructure programs and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with IT governance, policy development, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with AI, analytics, and automation technologies in infrastructure contexts is a plus.
  • Great analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
