Job description

Job Description:

Network Equipment Testing: Test and commission network equipment for the production environment.

Network Design and Configuration: Design, configure, and review network configurations with contractors.

Disaster Recovery Testing: Perform full disaster recovery (DR) swings to test the system and network when triggered.

Firewall and Network Management: Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.

VLAN Design: Design and segregate voice and data VLANs, integrating them with the backend system.

Network Monitoring: Configure network monitoring systems to collect statistical data and provide alerts when equipment is down.

Network Integration: Set up and integrate the network, ensuring front-end devices communicate with backend systems, such as the Payment System and other related systems.

Network Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support and troubleshoot network issues during implementation and daily operations.

Network Security: Implement and configure network security hardening for all network equipment based on security requirements.

Incident and Request Management: Track and resolve network-related incidents and requests within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Documentation: Prepare documentation on the Network Architecture Design.

IP Address Management: Maintain the IP address listing for both production and non-production environments.

Requirements:

Recognized degree or diploma in Information Technology or Engineering with at least 3 years relevant experience in system & network administrations.

Possess a strong interest and self-motivation to install, configure and maintain system/network services, equipment and devices, provide system/network support and requests, investigate, troubleshoot issues and provide resolution, i.e. including managing user accounts and access.

Competent and having a sound knowledge (Configure and troubleshoot) of various network protocols and topologies, including a broad knowledge of WLAN, switches, routers, servers, IPS/IDS and firewalls.

Able to perform network monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, network resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups, and related administration tasks.

Able to administer anti-virus, anti-spam and network security system, i.e. Firewalls, TDA and NAC.

Experience with implementing the network devices hardening requirements.

Relevant experience in monitoring and reviewing performance of network and ability to perform capacity planning.

Ability to work with minimal supervision under tight schedules.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Able to work well both independently and in a team.
