Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Database Platform Administrator to manage enterprise database platforms critical for business applications. You will be responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and compliance of database systems. Ideal candidates will have direct experience with Oracle and MS SQL, along with a solid understanding of IT compliance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with enterprise database administration (Oracle and/or MS SQL).
• Familiarity with Oracle Linux and database intrusion prevention technologies is a plus.

Join our client's central IT team and play a key role in managing the enterprise database platforms that power critical business applications.

As a Database Platform Administrator, you will:

• Support the migration, upgrade, configuration, and administration of database systems across both non-production and production environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to ensure high availability and performance
• Ensure the database platform adheres to IT compliance policies and security standards
• Contribute to platform improvements and operational efficiency

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Hands-on experience with enterprise database administration (Oracle and/or MS SQL)
• Familiarity with Oracle Linux and database intrusion prevention technologies is a plus
• Understanding of IT compliance frameworks (e.g. CIS, DISA) across various environments (Windows, Linux)
