Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Cloud Migration specialist to lead IT systems migration to a secure cloud environment. The role involves deploying and maintaining VMware Cloud Foundation components, managing Kubernetes clusters, and automating deployments. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant diploma or degree and have experience in cloud technologies. This position entails on-site work across Singapore.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as Cloud migration will have added advantage.
• Diploma/Degree in IT or any relevant study.
• Comfortable to travel around Singapore for on-site projects.

Job description

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the migration of IT systems from on-premise infrastructure to a secure government cloud environment built on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Deploy, configure, and maintain VCF components including vSAN, NSX, vCenter, and SDDC Manager in alignment with infrastructure standards.
• Set up, manage, and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters to support containerized applications and microservices.
• Automate resource provisioning and application deployment using Aria Automation and GitLab CI pipelines.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers, including configuration and maintenance of web servers such as Tomcat, Apache, and IIS.
• Monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization across cloud and container platforms to ensure optimal operations.
• Implement and maintain system security measures, and support security testing processes including DAST, SAST, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with technical teams and relevant authorities, such as government cybersecurity units, to provide timely updates, resolve incidents, and ensure secure operations.
