The Opportunity:

As part of the Asia IT Back Office Organization, the Server & Storage Infra Engineer will be responsible for BO System Administration and ensure the availability, performance, delivery and maintenance of Infrastructure services such as servers, database & storage hardware infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Asia Servers and Storage Services portfolio to ensure stable Infrastructure operations, service delivery of all Infrastructure & services
• Ensure the inventory of all hardware, software, and network resources is comprehensive and accurate
• Acting as a point of escalation and ensuring that business activities are not disrupted in the event of an incident
• To be the project coordinator, work with HQ together or independently for the project implementation
• Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with business users & monitoring of IT systems performance.
• Provide timely technical assistance to users, addressing hardware, software, and systems problems
• Tech support for maintaining the IT DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) and Perform backups and data recovery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory, Dell servers, NetApp storage, Hyper-Converged Technologies
• Knowledge of Broadcom VMware virtualization production
• Knowledge of Linux/Open Source tools/Netbox and applications will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Database is a plus
• Strong working experience of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies & with hands-on experience in mid-size envs
• Experience with Sniffer software, Structured Cabling documentation standards and diagramming
• Good communication skill in both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skill
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Knowledge of networking, databases, and operating systems
• Understanding of IT security best practices
