Our client is a Japanese-listed trading company. The role encompasses the oversight of planning, implementation, operation, user support, promotion, and governance of IT systems, primarily focused on applications, business units, and company-wide support across the Asia & Oceania region. This includes the effective allocation of IT resources, including personnel, budgets, and IT solutions.
You will be reporting to the General Manager.
【Responsibilities】
- Coordinate and align the interests of various internal stakeholders, including corporate and liaison offices, Tokyo-based teams (primarily the DX & IT Group), and Group companies.
- Maintain regular communication and information exchange with industry peers and external partners.
- Oversee multiple projects and system operations simultaneously, with responsibilities including project management for initiatives involving the implementation of new technologies or systems, while continuously driving improvement and transformation.
- Explore, identify, and integrate emerging technologies—especially in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI)—to optimise and enhance operational efficiency.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar
- Over 7 years of DX and IT experience, including SAP implementation project management experience
- 3-5 years of Managerial experience in IT-related projects and resource management
- Strong English communication skills are required to handle internal and external stakeholders, vendors, as well as higher management
- Has experience in leading application-related projects (such as ERP, SCM, CRM, etc.) across various areas, including planning, implementation, operation, user support, promotion, and governance as a Project Manager, Consultant, or in a similar role.
- Must be willing to travel regionally (Asia and Oceania region) on a monthly or bi-monthly basis, including but not limited to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh.
(Advantageous)
- Possess experience in implementing and promoting Citizen Development (Microsoft Power Platform) and Operation Process Analysis/Automation (RPA).
- Possess experience in IT audit.
