The IT FinOps Analyst On Premise position at Hapag-Lloyd in Chennai, India, reports to the Director IT Run Cost Financial Operations. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end mainframe estate from a cost perspective. The organization is transitioning to a platform operating model and aims to modernize its application landscape, requiring a strong analyst to support this transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mainframe Cost Management & Optimization: Collaborate across teams to manage budgets, track spending, and identify cost savings. Monitor usage, optimize resource utilization, develop reports and KPIs, implement cost strategies, and automate FinOps processes.
2. Mainframe Cost Analysis & Reporting: Analyze spend data, develop cost frameworks, generate reports, and identify optimization opportunities.
3. Mainframe Governance & Collaboration: Establish cost management practices, define KPIs, collaborate with teams, and build relationships with partners.

The candidate will work with stakeholders such as IT Leadership, Centre of Excellence, Platform Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to manage budgets, analyze data, and drive cost efficiencies.
