A leading logistics provider in Singapore is looking for a Procurement Support to assist in IT requisition processing and vendor management. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in a related field, 2 years of finance or administrative experience, and strong attention to detail. This role involves supporting the IT finance function and working collaboratively within a team, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and processes.
Job Description
Procurement Support
Assist in the creation and processing of IT purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Help track the status of IT orders and deliveries.
Support the IT team with basic vendor research and information gathering. Invoicing & Payments: Review and verify IT-related invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Route invoices for appropriate approvals and assist with data entry into our financial systems.
Help reconcile vendor statements and follow up on minor discrepancies.
Support the Accounts Payable team in ensuring timely processing of IT vendor payments.
Contract & Service Agreement Administration
Assist in maintaining an organized repository of IT contracts, licenses, and service agreements.
Help track contract expiration dates and gather information for renewal discussions.
Support the team in ensuring basic compliance with contractual terms.
Data & Reporting
Assist in compiling data for IT expenditure reports.
Contribute to basic financial analysis of IT costs.
Help identify opportunities for process improvements within the IT finance workflow.
Compliance & General Support
Ensure all IT financial documentation adheres to internal guidelines.
Provide general administrative support to the IT finance function as needed.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2 years of experience in a finance or administrative role, ideally with some exposure to accounts payable or data entry.
Basic understanding of financial processes and willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with any financial system or ERP software (e.g., Oracle, Ariba.)
Prior internship or work experience in a technology-focused company.
