IT Executive - Global

We are looking for an experienced IT Executive (Global) for our client. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that related procedures for data processing and information systems are being implemented to ensure systems/network integrity and efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of Cloud computing, networking, servers, operating systems, virtualization, applications and have a minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain, manage and control of company IT assets including but not limited to servers, PCs, mobile gadgets, network, security and control & disaster recovery system.
2. Monitor and maintain backup systems to ensure data integrity and availability. Perform regular backup and recovery tests to validate the effectiveness of solutions. Collaborate with Cyber Security Specialist to ensure compliance with data protection policies and regulations.
3. Monitor network performance and availability. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues and outages. Be able to address network vulnerabilities and threats. Monitor network performance to ensure that the network is in good condition.
4. Ensure that the operating system, networking and office software is used correctly, properly installed, configured and licensed.
5. Administration of Office 365 to ensure and deliver organizational productivity in everyday operations. Implement, maintain standards and procedures of the suite. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to suggest adoptions of Office 365 functions to optimize and improve work processes.
6. Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components. Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Azure services. Stay updated with the latest Azure features, best practices, and industry trends.
7. Respond to user queries/issues with regards to systems. Support impacted users in repairing and recovering to enable full system operationality.
8. Control and maintain systems account for control and security to access systems.
9. Implement virus protection features and procedures in the systems.
10. To execute the Company’s IT procedure relating to his job duties diligently.
11. Responsible for ordering, acquisition, invoice processing, inventorying and disposition of company IT related assets.
12. Make necessary recommendations to the Assistant Manager of IIT for upgrading of servers, network, PCs and other peripherals.
13. Generate reports relating to the role’s duties.
14. Any other duties as and when assigned by the superiors.

Requirement:

1. Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Preferably 1-2 years relevant experience; fresh graduates will also be considered.
3. ITIL Certification.
4. Strong knowledge of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
5. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate) will be an added advantage.
6. Knowledge of Cloud computing, networking, servers, operating systems, virtualization and applications.
7. Knowledge of Office 365 Productivity Suite including but not limited to Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook.
8. Ability to comprehend security issues and execute the necessary procedures to maintain a secure system environment.
9. Ability to coach and train users.
10. Carry out project tasks independently.
