A leading company in the engineering sector seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive IT support, manage infrastructure, and ensure effective documentation. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in IT and a minimum of 3 years' experience in IT infrastructure support, demonstrating hands-on skills in hardware and software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive IT support to both domestic and remote users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Maintain and manage the inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
Oversee and manage all IT-related infrastructure, including servers, printers, and Wi-Fi networks.
Implement and enforce IT control procedures, including those related to physical and data security.
Participate in and provide support for Business IT projects and initiatives.
Administer and support operational systems and applications, including Windows OS, websites, and other enterprise tools.
Manage and maintain LAN/WAN networks, VPN configurations, and firewall systems.
Ensure proper documentation of all IT assets, including invoices, quotations, user manuals, and software license agreements.
Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Diploma or higher in Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, including server management and PC troubleshooting.
Strong hands-on experience with hardware, software, Windows OS, and email systems.
Willingness to provide after-hours support when necessary.
