Job Overview

Assist and support Lead TA in Research & Development activities.

Participate as a member of our company's Architecture Committee to facilitate meetings with internal and external technical stakeholders and SMEs.

Manage technology relationships up to CxO level and support technology thought leadership.

Collaborate, consult, and provide our company's system standards, best practices, guidelines, and architectural principles, frameworks, and standards in engagements.

Conduct research, case studies, and develop prototypes on leading-edge technologies and their applications.

Develop POCs to evaluate new technologies and make informed recommendations.

Design or propose enhancements to improve system architecture performance, availability, and reliability.

Maintain high standards of engineering excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

Understand the company's technical environment: gather business insights, and map architecture and digital transformation solutions to business outcomes.

Ensure architecture designs and deployments are optimal by:

  1. Leveraging and championing existing architecture approaches.
  2. Supporting architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization.
  3. Shaping and enhancing customer requirements.
  4. Identifying, escalating, and resolving technical blockers.
  5. Applying governance frameworks such as Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.
  6. Establishing security baselines.

Practice Development: generate new ideas for technological and process improvements; drive Proof of Concepts.

Experience with Cloud solutions in GCP.

Hands-on experience and knowledge in topics such as DevOps, Big Data, Machine Learning, Serverless Computing, Cloud Migration, Application Modernization, etc.

Knowledge of latest technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, cybersecurity, MSA, AI/ML, or real-time analytics solutions.

Proficiency in at least one development language such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

Participation in architect community activities (e.g., open source contributions, meetups, webcasts, blogs, hackathons) is advantageous.

Ability to evangelize and present technical concepts to developers and IT management.

Qualifications and Experience

Special Skills: proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or Alicloud.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related major.

Work Experience: At least 8 years in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, or cloud/infrastructure technologies; with a minimum of 5 years in an IT Architect role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (Hybrid work option available after probation).
