IT Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reports to the IT Manager
• Manage the network and security needs of the company
• Ensure the company's infrastructure is well-protected against cybersecurity threats
• Develop company-wide best practices for IT security
• Ensure the servers are patched and kept up-to-date
• Ensure the files, applications and database are backed up according to plan
• Work with vendors to carry out related projects
• Work on tasks assigned by the IT Manager

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Degree IT / Computer Science or experience in information security or related field
• Proven work experience in network and cybersecurity
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
• Self-motivated person who takes the initiatives to do what is necessary for the company
