Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the organization’s overall IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Develop long-term technology roadmaps and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on technology trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
  • Conduct regular IT audits and risk assessments.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IT systems and services.
  • Plan and manage disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • Develop and manage the IT department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage contracts with IT vendors, software providers, and service partners.
  • Oversee major IT projects, including system upgrades.
  • Manage change initiatives, including training and communication with stakeholders.
  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing IT team.
  • Set departmental goals, conduct performance evaluations, and manage succession planning.
