A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for desktop PCs, laptops, and peripherals. The successful candidate will ensure excellent service delivery while resolving hardware and software issues efficiently. Ideal applicants will have 1-2 years of relevant experience and a NITEC in IT.
Responsibilities:
Handling PC support, Laptop, Outlook, Windows, Mac
Software and hardware troubleshooting
Support on desktops, notebooks, printers, scanners hardware components
Responsible for providing excellent support and timely service
Rectify simple IT fault like cleaning of disk drives and jammed laser printers
Install and uninstall of software from desktop PCs and laptops
Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirement:
Minimum 1 - 2 years experience in Desktop Support
Minimum NITEC in IT relevant discipline
Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals
Knowledge of operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems
