A technology company in Singapore seeks an IT support professional to assist in IT infrastructure deployment projects focused on Microsoft solutions. The role involves trouble-shooting, project coordination, and managing support tickets. Candidates should have a degree or diploma in Computer Science and 2-5 years of experience in IT support, with a strong command of Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and support IT infrastructure deployment projects involving Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Backup, and Cloud Security.
Deliver L2/L3 support for incident and problem management, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution.
Apply best practices for structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Manage technical escalations and work closely with vendors/principals for resolution both remotely and on-site.
Assist in project coordination tasks including project scoping, tracking milestones, and communicating with internal/external stakeholders.
Take ownership of assigned support tickets and follow through until full resolution.
Maintain system documentation, deployment records, and internal knowledge base.
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and ensure project/service delivery is aligned with SLAs and customer expectations.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
2–5 years of hands-on experience in IT deployment and L2 support in enterprise or managed service provider (MSP) environments.
Practical experience in Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, M365 Defender, and cloud backup solutions.
Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V/VMware, and authentication protocols.
Exposure to basic project management tasks such as scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder updates.
Understanding of networking concepts, firewall operations, and recovery procedures.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a service-oriented mindset.
Self-driven, team player, and able to work independently when required.
Certifications in Microsoft or related technologies are preferred or expected within the first 6–12 months.
