Job Title:
IT Consultant (Robotics & Automation Projects)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced robotics and automation solutions. In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to provide technical expertise across software and system integration, while ensuring project milestones are met with high standards of quality, stability, and performance. You will also coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to drive project success from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical consulting and advisory on software architecture, system integration, and cloud-based solutions for robotics and automation projects
• Support the planning, development, testing, and deployment of robotics software systems (e.g. ROS, web-based applications, cloud integration)
• Conduct functional testing and performance validation of robotic solutions, collaborating with engineering leads to resolve issues
• Work with project managers to define project scopes, track progress, and manage technical risks
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and best practices in software and system engineering
• Document architecture decisions, test results, and system design to support continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field
• At least 8 years of experience in software/system engineering or technical consulting
• Solid understanding of robotics frameworks (ROS) , software development lifecycle, and system integration
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and business teams
• Strong communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with cloud-based systems (AWS or equivalent), web-based app development
• Experience in electronics development lifecycle
• Exposure to manufacturing or hardware/software integration projects
