ISS STOXX is growing! ISS STOXX is actively seeking an IT Compliance Specialist to join the Mumbai team (Goregaon East).

Overview

The ISS STOXX Compliance department is looking to add an experienced specialist in building its IT compliance capabilities. This individual will primarily be responsible for various compliance activities related to Information Technology (IT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The candidate must have a strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and technical aspects. The individual will act as a subject matter expert, working independently with advice followed by the business. The reporting line will be to the Head of Governance & Corporate Compliance.

Responsibilities

1. Advise on statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements related to IT and AI
2. Perform risk assessments
3. Contribute to implementation projects
4. Work with the business to review and test first-line compliance controls and identify gaps
5. Draft and revise procedures/processes for new and existing second-line controls
6. Participate in client due diligence presentations
7. Provide reporting within the department to interested parties
8. Collaborate with various second-line functions (e.g., Risk Management, Information Security)

Qualifications

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
• Minimum of five years' experience in IT-specific compliance requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Independent initiative and critical thinking skills
• Data analytics and/or programming skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
