Job description

We're looking for a certified and experienced Google Cloud Engineer to join our expanding team. The right candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for managing containerized workloads. In this role, you'll design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and applications that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, Standard Office Hours

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deploy and operate containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE).
• Automate infrastructure setup using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Work closely with DevOps, development, and security teams to implement CI/CD best practices, along with logging and monitoring.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Strengthen security practices in alignment with compliance requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation for architecture, workflows, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or related fields
• Min. 3-4 years’ experience in working with Google Cloud platform
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration, preferably using GKE.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or within a team.
• Google Cloud certification (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer or equivalent).
• Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD).
• Red Hat certification (RHCSA) is a plus.
• Solid experience with core GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
