In this role, you drive continuous change and improvement in the Digital & Technology Division by taking initiative and ensuring plans are setup, monitored and implemented. This role will focus on the change and release management of IT deliveries and includes governance, tracking, and analysis of IT deployments, while ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategies and objectives. The secondary aspect of this role will involve supporting the IT budget and resourcing domain within IT Portfolio when required. This position reports to the Head of IT Portfolio Management
  • Govern the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) procedures, ensuring adherence of the policy, standards and procedures for IT deliveries.
  • Facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process and ensure compliance for all change and releases.
  • Perform periodic reviews on SDLC procedures, CAB processes and other related procedures to ensure the controls are kept up-to-date.
  • Perform analysis in response to standards / policy changes (regulatory, compliance etc.) to identify gaps and improvement areas.
  • Maintain regular cadence of CAB meetings and SDLC updates and attestations.
  • Implement deployment tracking and measurement methodologies for IT management reporting.
  • Schedule, organise, collate, and socialise IT Delivery information among various stakeholders as required.
  • Support internal and external audit or assurance related activities when required.
  • Support the budget and resourcing domain within the IT Portfolio team when required.

Who we are looking for:

  • A track record of working in dynamic environments independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment to deliver responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organised and detail orientated, with a willingness to embrace tools to work more efficiently.

Working Experience:

  • At least 2 years of working experience within the IT release management domain, either in a delivery or governance role.
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and IT delivery concepts, especially the risk management aspects (controls & due diligence).
  • Good understanding of Change & Release governance best practices.
  • Experience in the facilitation of governance, reviews, steering and other related forums.
  • Fundamental knowledge of budget or resource management
  • Experience in stakeholder management, especially senior management highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in JIRA, Confluence, project management tools or scripting highly desirable

Education:

  • Bachelor degree (Business, Finance, IT or equivalent)
  • Finance, Insurance, IT and/or Project management certifications / qualifications highly desirable
