IT Business Process Specialist (SAP, BI)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled IT professional to join a prominent company within Singapore’s energy sector. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work with key systems, including Quorum Software, SAP ERP, and Business Intelligence tools, to support business growth and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gain an in-depth understanding of the organization’s business model and collaborate across various teams to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
2. Work with internal stakeholders to evaluate key IT systems and applications, providing comprehensive technical, commercial, and financial solutions to optimize business operations.
3. Offer insights and recommendations for system and application improvements, focusing on cost reduction and process optimization.
4. Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to gather user requirements and convert them into functional specifications to meet business goals.
5. Partner with both internal IT teams and external vendors to implement and manage business processes and IT systems effectively.
6. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of IT solutions, ensuring they align with business needs.
7. Manage system changes and coordinate with external service providers to address defects or system issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field from a recognized institution.
2. Proven experience in IT system implementation, with a preference for candidates familiar with Quorum Energy Components, SAP, or Business Intelligence solutions.
3. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and Power BI is a great plus.
4. Ability to quickly understand the organization’s diverse business activities and apply relevant IT solutions.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to IT challenges.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building collaborative relationships across teams.
