Our client is an international Information Compliance & Security Services Company established in 2002. The main office is based in London (United Kingdom) with regional offices in Dubai (Middle East) and Singapore (Asia). Due to expansion, they are looking for an IT Business Development Manager (SE Asia with skills and experience in IT Projects) to join their growing team!

Job Description:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sector. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  2. Leverage knowledge and experience in IT project management to understand client needs and propose effective IT solutions. Ensure alignment between client requirements and project delivery.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Act as a trusted advisor to understand their IT project needs and provide tailored solutions.
  4. Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform business development strategies.
  5. Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients. Demonstrate the value of our IT solutions and address client requirements effectively.
  6. Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and successful deal closure. Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract signing.
  7. Work closely with internal teams, including IT, project management, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
  8. Monitor and analyze business development metrics and performance. Provide regular reports to senior management on progress, opportunities, and challenges.
  9. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships and promote our IT services.

Job Requirements:

  • Experienced in Document Management, Records Management, Data Protection, Cybersecurity (Preferably)
  • 10+ years experience in the SE Asia market
  • Able to create and execute business development plan
  • Strong sales skills and work on a contract, part-time way
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Able to accept a package that is heavily commissioned-based
