Job description

This role will bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring that the systems implemented aligned with the University’s objectives and standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document complex business requirements.
• Translates business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications for IT teams/vendors.
• Drives process improvements and designs innovative IT solutions to optimize operations.
• Utilises automation tools to streamline business processes and reduce manual tasks.
• Facilitates communication between business units and technical development teams.
• Conducts user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensures solutions meet business objectives.
• Plays a key role in supporting successful project delivery and change management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Business Analyst/Technical Analyst/Systems Analyst
• Proven ability in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to bridge business and technical teams.
• Highly organised, adaptable, and capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience in implementing and/or supporting enterprise-level applications
• Experience in higher education
• Experience in low code development platforms (e.g. OutSystems, ServiceNow), automation tools (PowerAutomate, UiPath) or enterprise orchestration platform (Workato, Boomi).
