Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Capital Market IT (CMI) department. The role involves acting as a key liaison between business and technical teams, translating complex financial and trading-related requirements into actionable technological solutions.

Mandatory Skill-set:

• Must have 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with prior experience in trading applications and Capital Market systems;
• Must have strong understanding of capital markets and trade lifecycle and exposure to front office, middle office, and back office workflows;
• Familiarity with linear and non-linear derivatives including FX products, IRS, MTM swap, TARF, and FX Pivot TARF;
• Strong skills in SQL and data analysis, with proficiency in relational databases such as Oracle, Sybase, and SQL Server;
• Experience working with Orchestrade, including workflow management, blotter, static data, and reporting;
• Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting for EMIR, MIFID, CFTC, SFTR, MAS, and HKMA;
• Experience in analysis planning, requirement documentation, and process flow creation.

Desired Skill-set:

• Experience using project collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel;
• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes;
• Familiarity with AI, Cloud solutions, and advanced technologies in trading.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with business and IT to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements;
• Define trade enrichment logic, exception handling, and workflow rules;
• Analyze interactions between systems and propose integrated solution blueprints;
• Collaborate with developers and teams to design system enhancements;
• Conduct end-to-end analysis from front office to middle and back office;
• Operate across lifecycle events such as expiration, termination, fixing, allocation, novation, and clearing;
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of requirements and process flows;
• Design UAT test cases, execute them, and report findings;
• Ensure closure of open items post-testing;
• Act as a liaison between onshore business stakeholders and offshore development teams;
• Support development with clear functional guidance.
