Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience or strong foundational knowledge in Python and backend web frameworks like FastAPI.

• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Candidates with experience using AI-assisted development tools are strongly preferred.
• Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields may be considered.

Responsabilités

Job Description (Duties & Responsibilities)

• Contribute to the design, development, testing, and documentation of production-grade full-stack web applications for internal business and operational use.
• Develop modern and responsive frontend applications using React / JSX, including reusable components, forms, dashboards, data tables, workflows, and user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI, including business logic, data validation, authentication, error handling, logging, and integration with other enterprise systems.
• Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including database schemas, relationships, queries, indexes, and data access layers.
• Implement end-to-end application features across the frontend, backend, API, and database layers, ensuring reliable data flow and maintainable architecture.
• Leverage AI-assisted software development tools to accelerate development, debugging, testing, documentation, and code improvement.
• Apply software engineering practices including version control, code review, testing, debugging, logging, documentation, and deployment.
• Assist with the deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of applications across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Work with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business processes into application features, and continuously improve solutions.
• Contribute to improving the security, performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability of applications to ensure they are suitable for production use.

Job Requirements (Qualifications & Experience)

• Strong interest in full-stack web application development and software engineering, with the ability to understand how frontend, backend, APIs, and databases work together.
• Hands-on experience or strong foundational knowledge in Python, preferably with FastAPI or similar backend web frameworks.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database, including SQL, database design, joins, indexes, and data modelling.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices such as Git, GitHub/GitLab, debugging, testing, code organization, and deployment.
• Candidates with experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools are strongly preferred.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Polytechnic undergraduates or graduate students with strong software development skills and demonstrated interest in full-stack development may also be considered.
