Job summary

BDO LLP is seeking an IT Audit professional to join our Singapore office. The role involves planning, coordinating and performing IT audits across financial and non-financial systems, including system development and data management audits.

You will review IT control design and effectiveness, identify IT-related risks, and apply mitigating controls while working with IDEA and Power BI for data analytics. Collaboration with clients and team members is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, IT or related field.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and data analytics tools such as IDEA and Power BI.
• Knowledge of IT applications like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

Responsibilities

• Extract and process different types of datasets for analysis and audit tests
• Support the IT audit team with project management tasks.
• Perform general and specific IT-related controls review on client’s system based on BDO Methodology Performing data analytics using IDEA & Power BI
• Engage with various stakeholders within the firm as well as clients professionally
• Prepare detailed working papers and supporting documents and get it reviewed and approved by reporting Manager.
• Prepare IT Audit reports including audit observations and recommendations.
• Discuss on the audit findings with the client and get their responses.
