Job summary

BDO LLP Singapore is seeking a capable IT Auditor to assess financial and operational systems, perform IT control reviews, and support data analytics using IDEA and Power BI. You will coordinate audits, engage stakeholders, and prepare clear working papers and reports.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or IT, excel in written and verbal communication, and work well in a team. Knowledge of SAP, Oracle or MS Dynamics is a plus; MS Office and analytics tools are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, IT or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Microsoft Office knowledge and data analytics tools like IDEA and Power BI are a plus.
• Knowledge of IT applications like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and perform IT audits of financial and other systems including audits over system development and data management procedures.
• Review IT control design and operating effectiveness.
• Identify risks associated with the IT systems and the corresponding counter measures.
• Extract and process datasets for analysis and audit tests.
• Support IT audit team with project management tasks.
• Perform IT-related controls review using BDO Methodology and data analytics with IDEA & Power BI.
• Engage with stakeholders within the firm and clients professionally.
• Prepare detailed working papers and supporting documents and get them reviewed and approved.
• Prepare IT Audit reports including audit observations and recommendations.
• Discuss audit findings with clients and obtain responses.
