Job description

Duration: 2 years contract (subject to renewal)

Salary: up to $5800

Support IT users and end-user IT systems and devices, coordinating with senior colleagues for implementing local projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware to both domestic and APAC office users.
  2. Respond to queries in person, over the phone, or via email. Diagnose problems, walk customers through solutions, run diagnostic programs, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved. Generate reports to identify ongoing malfunctions.
  3. Research and create technical procedures, training manuals, and conduct user training. Set up, administer, and utilize helpdesk tools, user self-service centers, and ticketing systems (e.g., BMC Remedy, ManageEngine).
  4. Install, modify, reconfigure, update, and repair computer hardware and software, including OS and antivirus software. Resolve technical issues with LAN, WAN, VoIP, and other systems. Troubleshoot peripherals such as printers and scanners. Configure and troubleshoot mobile phones and back-end systems.
  5. Create and maintain an inventory of IT assets (computers, monitors, phones, tablets, etc.) and develop business forecasts.
  6. Perform other duties as directed by the manager.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Degree in IT or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in an MNC environment.
  3. CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent preferred.
  4. Excellent communication skills in English.
