About the role
Vin's Automotive Group is seeking a skilled IT Administrator to join our dynamic team in our Bishan Central Region office. As a full-time IT Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our company's IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and network.
What you'll be doing
- Assist in managing IT functions including hardware maintenance, software application upgrades, and system installations.
- Provide hardware support for printers, monitors, desktop PCs, laptops, and smartphone devices, ensuring functionality across all platforms.
- Perform hardware upgrades, data migration, and system setup as required.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve user questions and problems related to IT systems.
- Perform problem management by analysing frequently occurring incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing long-term solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues related to network operations, desktop applications, and hardware failures, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
- Maintain and update the IT equipment inventory and ensure detailed documentation in compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Manage hardware and software licensing to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Provide user management support across various systems, ensuring users have the correct access levels and permissions.
- Provide day-to-day IT support for employees, addressing a range of technical issues related to software, hardware, and network services.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware maintenance, software installations, and network management.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting desktop applications, network operations, and hardware issues.
- Experience in managing and supporting IT environments including printers, PCs, laptops, and smartphones.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis for frequently occurring incidents.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills for maintaining IT asset records and ensuring licensing compliance.
