Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW

My client is a leading IT system integrator from Japan with over 50 years history in Singapore. They are looking for a Japanese speaking account manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Establish working relationships with key clients and stakeholders and become a trusted advisor who will understand their requirements and challenges.
  2. Manage client's IT and business satisfaction in the delivery of IT services and ensure profit objectives are met.
  3. Identify new business opportunities and manage end-to-end sales cycle, particularly in growing existing business in the account.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams and external parties such as principals, partners, and vendors in sales activities to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  5. Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring quality delivery of products/services.
  6. Provide progress updates to all stakeholders.
  7. Ensure sales targets are achieved and maintain good client rapport.
  8. Monitor market conditions and recommend pricing and market strategy.
  9. Investigate client’s complaints on quality, delivery, service etc and provide corrective measures.
  10. Present, negotiate and prepare contracts, quotations, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Minimum 5 years of IT work experience with at least 3 years of sales account management for Japanese clients.
  2. Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese Language to liaise with Japanese clients.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Possess strong initiative, people networking and creativity skills.
  5. Proven sales track record.
  6. Disciplined and driven to develop sales account plans and upkeep sales forecast and hygiene.
  7. Possessing knowledge of the infrastructure environment and application would be an added advantage.

BENEFITS

Salary: Base salary + commission

Location: Singapore central

Hybrid working arrangement.
