IS Support Process Specialist at ABB

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and adoption of the IS Crisis Management Practice across the organization, including business areas (BAIS), senior executives, and ensuring improved process maturity and organizational efficiency in crisis scenarios. The work model is #LI-Hybrid, contributing to IS Services in Bangalore. Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Implementing crisis management and enhancing process maturity and adoption.
  2. Maintaining, developing, and improving awareness of the ABB Core IS Crisis Management Framework.
  3. Implementing and maintaining crisis management tools.
  4. Maintaining the Crisis Management Handbook.
  5. Supporting crisis management during events and providing input for process improvement.
  6. Cooperating with and aligning to the Group Crisis Management Process Owner.
  7. Selecting, nominating, and regularly refreshing training for the core crisis management team.
  8. Planning and conducting simulations and drills quarterly.
  9. Seeking continuous improvement of the crisis framework and tools through feedback and user research.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline; Master’s preferred.
  • Over 7 years of relevant experience, with more than 5 years in crisis management within global environments.
  • Passionate about Business Continuity Management and understanding of BCM principles.
  • Strong influence skills to drive transformation across the IS community.
  • Advanced experience in crisis governance, management, and reporting.
  • Experience as a change agent challenging conventional approaches.
  • Proficiency in English is critical.
