Job summary

GMP RECRUITMENT SERVICES (S) PTE LTD is seeking a hands-on IoT Engineer to join the Digital Transformation team in Singapore. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining IoT and edge computing solutions within a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include hardware selection, prototyping, and developing data pipelines using Python, with emphasis on Raspberry Pi and ESP32 devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or Diploma in related field.
• Proficient in Python programming and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with single-board computers (Raspberry Pi) and microcontrollers (ESP32).
• Knowledge of electronics prototyping, circuit connections and datasheets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement IoT systems and edge computing solutions in a cleanroom environment.
• Select hardware components and optimize ESP32, sensors and Raspberry Pi connectivity.
• Develop data pipelines for secure transmission between IoT devices and downstream systems using Python.
• Troubleshoot, validate and maintain connected systems ensuring reliability and performance.
• Gather user requirements and collaborate with software and maintenance teams for scalable deployments.
