Job summary

foodpanda is seeking an iOS Software Engineer to join the Transaction domain in Singapore. You will own the customer-facing iOS experience from cart to post-order, working with a diverse international team to ship high-quality features.

You’ll act as a subject matter expert, manage the full SDLC, and partner with Product Management to deliver maximum value. The role emphasizes scalability, performance, and robust code reviews in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Swift programming with hands-on development.
• Skilled in high-performance testing and optimization.
• Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns including SOLID, MVVM, VIPER.
• Experience addressing scalability challenges for apps serving thousands to millions of users.
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Involvement across the full SDLC: design, development, testing, deployment, and release.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert within your vertical, hands-on across the full SDLC.
• Serve as the product owner within your vertical, driving improvements and maintenance.
• Ensure code quality through thorough reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Management to maximize value for stakeholders and customers.
