Job summary

AKKODIS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Mobile Engineer (iOS) to join a high‑impact R&D team supporting a global leader in Digital Identity and Cybersecurity.

You will design, develop, and secure iOS apps and SDKs using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, applying AI-assisted development with human-led security validation and contributing to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and security practices across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer engineering, information security or related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of professional mobile development experience with native iOS
• Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit and iOS lifecycle
• Experience designing and distributing mobile SDKs with backward compatibility
• Strong mobile security knowledge and secure SDLC practices
• Experience with automated testing across unit, integration and UI
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and critical review of AI-generated code
• Familiarity with IAM, authentication technologies and security standards

Job Summary

Akkodis is seeking a Mobile Engineer (iOS) to join a high-impact R&D engineering team supporting a global leader in Digital Identity and Cybersecurity.

The role focuses on developing secure iOS mobile applications and SDKs for Identity and Access Management (IAM), enabling customers to integrate trusted authentication and identity verification capabilities into their mobile solutions.

You will work within a collaborative engineering environment where security, software quality, and innovation are critical. The role also provides an opportunity to adopt AI-assisted engineering tools across the software development lifecycle, while applying strong engineering judgment and human‑led security validation to ensure secure and reliable product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate secure iOS mobile applications and SDKs using Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit, following established R&D processes and quality standards.

• Develop secure authentication and identity verification capabilities based on industry-standard protocols and platform security principles.

• Design clean, scalable, well‑documented SDK APIs with strong backward compatibility and minimal impact on application size.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and UI test strategies for mobile SDKs and applications.

• Apply AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate coding, test generation, documentation, debugging, code review, and release activities, with mandatory human‑led validation for security‑critical code.

• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI, including automated testing, SAST, dependency scanning, and security checks.

• Apply mobile security best practices including secure storage, certificate pinning, static analysis, and protection against reverse engineering.

• Implement privacy‑conscious telemetry for crash, performance, and diagnostic monitoring without exposing sensitive identity information.

• Prototype new technologies and contribute to innovation initiatives, including patents and AI/ML opportunities that improve security and reduce user friction.

• Evaluate emerging AI/ML engineering tools and recommend practical adoption aligned with IAM security, privacy, and data‑handling requirements.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide advanced engineering support when required.

• Collaborate with product, security, QA, and cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver high‑quality, secure product releases.

Required Competencies and Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Security, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of professional mobile development experience, with strong hands‑on experience in native iOS development.

• Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit, including iOS lifecycle, concurrency, memory management, and application architecture.

• Proven experience developing and distributing mobile SDKs, including API design, versioning, binary distribution, and backward compatibility.

• Strong understanding of mobile application security and secure software development practices.

• Experience with secure storage such as iOS Keychain, static analysis, certificate pinning, and reverse‑engineering countermeasures.

• Experience with automated testing across unit, integration, and UI layers.

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.

• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent, with the ability to critically review, validate, and rewrite AI‑generated code.

• Strong understanding of applying AI across the SDLC while maintaining software quality, privacy, and security standards.

• Self‑driven, collaborative engineer with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and technical trade‑off judgment.

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and authentication technologies.

• Knowledge of authentication and identity protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), FIDO2, or certificate‑based authentication.

• Experience working on cybersecurity, digital identity, financial services, payments, or other security‑critical products.

• Experience with AI/ML technologies and their practical application within software engineering or cybersecurity.

• Experience contributing to technical innovation, prototypes, or patent proposals.
