Job summary

Amethyst Partners in Singapore is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join our team. You will develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, support the IR team in presentations and updates, and collaborate with finance and investment teams.

The role involves organizing fundraising events, roadshows, and seminars, maintaining investor databases, staying abreast of market trends, and assisting with due diligence and onboarding of investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Management or other disciplines required.
• 2–5 years of Investor Relations experience in Venture Capital/Private Equity.
• Open to candidates from Big 4 audit/accounting firms or investor services.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; motivated and detail-oriented.
• Good analytical skills and learning attitude; positive and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors.

Our client is a multi-billion venture capital firm with a strong track record in the region. Their LPs are mainly institutional investors. As their business continues to grow, they are looking for an Investor Relations Associate to join their team in Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

• Work as a team to develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors
• Support the investor relations team in preparing presentations, pitch decks, investor updates, marketing materials etc
• Liaise with different departments such as finance team and investment team to gather investment data and information for investor reporting etc
• Work as a team to liaise with investors to provide them fund performance updates and answer their enquires
• Assist in organizing fundraising events and investor activities such as roadshows, conferences and seminars, investor meetings etc
• Maintain the investor relations database and documents
• Keep track on the market on industry trends and investor profiles etc
• Collaborate with other teams to conduct due diligence on investors and onboarding
• Other ad-hoc duties related to investor services

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Business Management or other disciplines
• At least 2 to 5 years of Investor Relations in Venture Capital / Private Equity industry
• Open to candidates from big 4 audit / accounting firm , investor services
• Good understanding of Venture Capital / Private Equity industry
• Strong communication and presentation skills, motivated and detailed-oriented
• Good analytical skills and learning attitude, positive and collaborative
