Investment Solutions Associate (Base in Beijing)

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank with a mission of Financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyond, focusing on sustainability. Established in Beijing in 2016, AIIB has grown to 110 approved members globally, with a capitalization of USD 100 billion and AAA credit ratings. Collaborating with partners, AIIB invests in green, technology-enabled infrastructure that promotes regional connectivity by unlocking new capital.

The Sectors, Themes and Finance Solutions (STF) Department at AIIB drives technical excellence and financing knowledge across sectors and themes to support sovereign and nonsovereign investment operations. It plays a crucial role in shaping investment operations, initiating upstream work in frontier technologies, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and other sectors. STF ensures alignment with the Bank's Corporate Strategy, supports Client Departments (CDs) in implementing sectoral strategies, and introduces new products and financing modalities. Additionally, STF represents AIIB in international forums, actively networking with development partners to contribute to the global development agenda.

As an Investment Solutions Associate at AIIB, you will support the Manager - Investment Operations Solutions in delivering the business plan assigned by the Director General, STF.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct literature reviews, gather and manage data on infrastructure sectors systematically
• Analyze materials and provide high-quality information on key infrastructure sector issues
• Liaise with stakeholders for strategy development
• Organize seminars, conferences, and travel related to business development
• Support recruitment and monitoring of consultants
• Perform other assigned tasks

Requirements:

• Master's degree in economics, planning, management, or related fields
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
