Investment Senior Manager

About Sinologistics Overseas, a subsidiary of China Logistics Group:

With the strategic involvement of three key investors, namely China Eastern Airlines, China COSCO Shipping Corporation Ltd, and China Merchants Group, China Logistics Group operates in close coordination to drive its strategic initiatives. China Logistics has a registered capital of 30 billion RMB and a strong presence both domestically and internationally. Its operations span across 30 provinces within China, as well as five continents worldwide. Sinologistics Overseas, a Singapore Company, is its first overseas subsidiary and we are looking for like minded individuals to build and expand the overseas market with us!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification and evaluation of potential merger and acquisition targets within the transportation and supply chain industry.

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial, legal, operational, and commercial assessments.

  • Develop and present investment proposals, including financial models, investment thesis, and risk analysis, to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Negotiate and structure investment transactions, including terms, conditions, and valuation, to optimize returns and mitigate risks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to execute investment transactions and integrate acquired businesses.

  • Monitor and track the performance of investment portfolios, including post-acquisition integration and value creation initiatives.

  • Stay abreast of industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes impacting the logistics and transportation sector.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.

  • Extensive experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on the logistics or transportation industry.

  • Strong financial analysis skills, including proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and influence decision-making.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to mergers and acquisitions.

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin, as the role involves due diligence, negotiations, and investment committee reporting, which may require communication with stakeholders in both languages.
