Job summary

New Dimensions Capital in Singapore seeks an Investment Manager (Research & Investment Advisory) to support both public and private markets. The hybrid role covers investment due diligence, market research, committee discussions and client presentations with senior management and partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in investment research or related roles, strong finance knowledge, and advanced presentation skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in investment research, asset management, private banking, family office or related investment role.
Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products across both public and private markets.
Strong PowerPoint presentation skills with the ability to communicate investment ideas clearly and confidently.
Financial modelling and valuation experience would be an advantage.
Proficiency in Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet or similar financial data platforms would be advantageous.
CFA and/or CAIA charter holder (or candidates actively pursuing either designation) would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Conduct investment research across public and private markets.
Perform due diligence on fund managers, investment strategies and investment opportunities.
Prepare investment memoranda, investment committee papers and research reports.
Analyze valuation methodologies, peer comparisons and portfolio risks.
Monitor macroeconomic developments, financial markets and emerging investment themes.
Develop investment recommendations supported by research and analysis.
Monitor existing investments and provide ongoing performance updates.
Present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee.
Defend research findings and investment rationale using data and evidence.
Contribute actively to investment discussions and portfolio construction.
Mentor junior analysts and interns.
Review research reports, market publications and presentation materials prepared by junior team members.
Contribute to improving the firm's investment research processes and analytical standards.
Participate in client meetings alongside senior management.
Present market updates, investment strategies and investment opportunities to prospective and existing clients.
Support meetings with fund managers and participate in investment due diligence discussions.
Build trusted long-term relationships with clients through thoughtful investment advice and exceptional client service.
Progressively develop the ability to independently lead investment presentations and client discussions.
Present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee.
Defend research findings and investment rationale using data and evidence.
Contribute actively to investment discussions and portfolio construction.
Mentor junior analysts and interns.
Review research reports, market publications and presentation materials prepared by junior team members.
Contribute to improving the firm's investment research processes and analytical standards.
