Job summary

Investment Company of the People’s Republic of China (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a data-driven professional to collect, process, and reconcile daily holdings, transactions, and market data, ensuring accuracy for performance and reporting. You will validate portfolio returns and support ESG data collection for annual reviews.

You will collaborate with investment, accounting, risk and IT teams to resolve data issues, while maintaining reconciliation records and procedures with Mandarin-speaking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in investment performance, fund operations, investment accounting or related areas preferred.
• Understanding of portfolio returns, cash flows and benchmark comparisons.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to process large datasets; SQL & Python experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin with ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process and reconcile daily holdings, transactions, valuations, cash flows and market data; investigate discrepancies.
• Calculate and validate portfolio and fund returns; assist with periodic performance reports.
• Collaborate with investment, accounting and risk teams to resolve data and reporting issues.
• Analyse return drivers for fixed income, FX and derivatives; explain unusual movements.
• Manage and optimize collateral valuation and operations.
• Gather, analyse and manage ESG data for annual reporting and management communications.
• Collaborate with IT on system migration, upgrades and transformation.
