Job summary

Maybank Securities in Singapore is seeking a diligent accounting professional to support trade payments, AML monitoring, and daily investment position uploads.

You will post SAP entries, reconcile positions, prepare Form 15, and liaise with brokers while meeting tight deadlines.

Experience in securities or financial institutions is preferred; strong systems proficiency and meticulous work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Good degree in Accountancy with at least 2 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in the use of systems and PC applications.
• Should be a team player, independent, proactive and meticulous.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in securities industry or financial institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle trade payments, receipts and setoff reconciliation as well as posting of the SAP accounting entries.
• Handle AML monitoring.
• Handle daily uploading of investment positions into investment system and reconciliation of investment held against brokers' position.
• Prepare Form 15.
• Check Interface reports for SAP accounting entries.
• Perform foreign trust reconciliation with broker.
• Handle trade reporting to regulator and management.
• Check TT payment instructions.
• Other Adhoc projects.
