Investment Counselor

OVERVIEW

Our client is a securities brokerage and investment banking arm of one of the largest Japanese Securities Group.
This role is under Wealth and Corporate Client Solutions division which provides wealth management solutions with Japanese HNW clients in Singapore.

Responsibilities

1. Offer tailored investment advice to high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, ensuring portfolios align with their financial goals and risk tolerance.
2. Create and execute customized investment strategies across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and structured products.
3. Track market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities to enhance portfolio performance.
4. Work closely with relationship managers to strengthen client relationships and uncover new investment opportunities.
5. Perform regular portfolio reviews and suggest adjustments based on market conditions and client preferences.
6. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
7. Educate clients about financial markets, investment products, and portfolio strategies.

Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or relevant professional qualifications.
2. At least 3 years of working experience in related role, preferably in the private wealth / banking.
3. Professional working proficiency in Japanese is a plus, in order to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
