Responsibilities

  • Deal Origination
    • Perform fundamental, financial and credit analysis for client funding or corporate requirements
    • Preparation of high-quality pitch books across capital raising and advisory mandates for client meetings and follow-ups
    • Monitor and analyse market data, events and preparation of regular market updates and pricing updates to clients
  • Deal Execution
    • Support the team in obtaining internal approvals such as preparation of conflict clearance, debt underwriting approval memo, managing deal documentation and timeline
    • Coordinate deal execution between all internal and external stakeholders and deal team members to ensure smooth execution from mandate to deal closing
    • Deal execution aspects include due diligence, structuring, documentation, ratings, investor marketing, roadshow planning, settlement, and preparation of deal case studies
    • Engage and build relationships with client working level teams to ensure smooth deal execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related discipline (strong academic performance)
  • CMFAS 4A (Advisory on Corporate Finance)
  • At least 2-3 years relevant experience in Debt Capital Markets and/or Equity Capital Markets
  • Strong knowledge in accounting and credit fundamentals, financial modeling
  • Commercial awareness and genuine interest in financial markets
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated, resourceful, and able to take initiative
  • Professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deals, and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and willingness to work long hours
